Hell of a game. Lions has to overcome a lot of obstacles today. We almost pulled it off but 2 mins is a lot of time in this league. Thanks for the bye week🙏🏿
The New Black Allegiance says:
Damn we almost had it bro. Told people we stood a chance and today we made Mahomes look pedestrian.
Scott McClellan says:
NOW here are my OWN topics I want to put out to my fellow fans…
1) That Stafford run, to all you Stafford haters I am telling you that was a Stafford "LEADERSHIP" moment, so many say he is not a leader, that is HOW he chooses to lead, the team needed a morale boost and he went out and silently said ok boys I am going to show you the sacrifices I will make, now you better do the same its called leading by example and Staff is a master of it like it or not.
2) Tavon Wilson… for those of you who wanted him off this team and challenged me, he went out and showed us again that he belongs on this team he was a beast.
3) For those of you who still want to go after Matty P and say he should be fired or try to micromanage his coaching decisions, let me say this, hey he is human and not perfect, that said are those of you doing that really so arrogant that you think you know more about Coaching in the NFL than the great Andy Reid? maybe you should listen to the first 2 1/2 minutes of what he had to say while you are dining on your crow… This man Unsolicited made statements about how the Lions are coached.. go listen…https://youtu.be/Wk0Y3ZDEuvk
This is all I have to say for now, Proud of our team #onepride
Scott McClellan says:
Second comment, on the rushing 3, we did not do that, as often as one may think it was usually 4 just sometimes that 4th guy was a delayed rush….that said, everyone worrying about that is ignoring that their receiving core has WAY more speed than our secondary (especially without slay) I am sorry but you know I am gonna point out stuff many dont think about… Honestly it was a brilliant strategy, because of that speed deficit our guys needed help in the secondary. By rushing 3-4 it gave us more help in coverage and allowed us to DT Kelce because he would have shredded any single coverage and Matty P knew that and planned for it.
Scott McClellan says:
ok first comment, on the Fullback discussion while I get the callers point, in my usual way I would like to point out that we are not in practice every day we do not see for example Bawdens shortcomings as a ball carrier etc… ( I have loved this kid since before we drafted him, but I also know his weaknesses, he is still learning) We have no place judging if the finite details of how the coaches are using him is incorrect. I would also point out I specifically saw him out there an several plays. I even saw both him and a TE in the backfield on at least one play.
green field says:
Defense did a great job the Lions won that game the referees cheated us once again
green field says:
Good game lion's
Dim Sum says:
I challenge anybody to name a team in the NFC north that could do better.
Leudell Wesley says:
We caused ourselves untimely turnovers
